- El Parc Natural Portes de Ferro (oficialment i en romanès: 'Parcul Natural Porțile de Fier'r) és un parc natural de 115,666-hectàrea (285,820-acre) situat al sud-oest de Romania. Inclou la part romanesa de la porta de ferro del riu Danubi i s’estén al llarg de la riba esquerra del riu als comtats de Caraș-Severin i Mehedinți. A l'altre costat del riu hi ha el a Sèrbia. El Parc Natural de les Portes de Ferro és el segon parc natural més gran de Romania. S’estén des de Socol a l’oest fins a Drobeta-Turnu Severin a l'est; al nord hi ha les muntanyes del Banat i les muntanyes de Mehedinți. El parc conté 18 àrees protegides, la més gran és la zona humida Ostrov - Moldova Veche. (ca)
- Přírodní park Železná vrata (rumunsky Parcul Natural Porțile de Fier) je soubor chráněných území v Rumunsku, nacházejících se podél levého břehu průlomového údolí Železná vrata. Území o ploše 1 157 km2 tvoří spolu se srbským Národním parkem a geoparkem Džerdap systém ochrany okolí světoznámé dunajské soutěsky o celkové ploše 2 487 km². Byl vyhlášen v roce 2000. (cs)
- Der Naturpark Eisernes Tor (rumänisch Parcul Natural Porțile de Fier) ist ein Naturschutzgebiet in den Kreisen Caraș-Severin und Mehedinți im Südwesten Rumäniens. Der Naturpark Eisernes Tor erstreckt sich auf einem Areal von 115.655 Hektar und dehnt sich über die südlichen Ausläufer des Banater Gebirges ( und Almăj-Gebirge), des und über einen Teil des aus, sowie über das Durchbruchstal der Donau am Eisernen Tor. Der Naturpark Eisernes Tor wurde im Jahr 2000 als Naturschutzgebiet von nationaler Bedeutung gegründet und 2007 durch die Weltnaturschutzunion IUCN als Schutzgebiet der Kategorie V (Naturpark) anerkannt. 2011 erfolgte die Eintragung des Naturparks Eisernes Tor in die Liste der Schutzgebiete von internationaler Bedeutung der Ramsar-Konvention. Auf beiden Seiten der Donau wurden Schutzgebiete eingerichtet – in Serbien der Nationalpark Đerdap, auf rumänischer Seite der Naturpark Eisernes Tor. Ziel ist es ein grenzüberschreitendes Biosphärenreservat als Teil der künftigen Euroregion Donauraum zu schaffen. (de)
- The Iron Gates Natural Park (Romanian: Parcul Natural Porțile de Fier ) is a 115,666-hectare (285,820-acre) natural park located in southwestern Romania. It includes the Romanian part of the Iron Gate of the Danube River, and stretches along the left bank of the river in the counties of Caraș-Severin and Mehedinți. Across the river is the Đerdap national park in Serbia. The Iron Gates Natural Park is the second largest natural park in Romania. It stretches from Socol in the west, to Drobeta-Turnu Severin in the east; to the north are the Banat Mountains and the Mehedinți Mountains. The park contains 18 protected areas, the largest one being the wet zone Ostrov–Moldova Veche. The Iron Gates Natural Park is home to 205 species of birds and 34 species of mammals. It also home to several plants which are protected by law including; Tulipa hungarica, Banat's corn (Cerastium banaticum), Cosaci (Astragalus rochelianus), Cazane bells (Campanula crassipes), Wild carnation (Dianthus kitaibelli) and Rock iris (Iris reichenbachii).
