- Integrovaná prevence a omezování znečištění (Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, zkratka IPPC) je přístup k ochraně životního prostředí, který je v Evropské unii uzákoněn směrnicí 2008/1/ES o IPPC. Do českého práva se dostal zákonem č. 76/2002 Sb., o integrované prevenci, který byl několikrát novelizován. Cílem IPPC je ochrana životního prostředí jako celku (voda, půda, ovzduší, odpady) před znečištěním z průmyslových a zemědělských podniků. Je založené na preventivním přístupu použitím tzv. nejlepších dostupných technik nebo technologií (BAT – Best Available Techniques), které jsou stanoveny v referenčních dokumentech (BREF), jež připravuje Evropská komise ve spolupráci s průmyslem, nevládními organizacemi a členskými státy EU. Základem IPPC je tzv. integrované povolování pro vybranou průmyslovou a zemědělskou činnost stanovenou zákonem č. 76/2002 Sb., které vydává příslušný krajský úřad nebo ministerstvo životního prostředí). Základním nástrojem IPPC je tzv. integrované povolení a povolovací řízení, směřující k jeho vydání a periodickému obnovování. Integrované povolení nahrazuje několik rozhodnutí, vyjádření a souhlasů příslušných správních orgánů. V současné době je projednáván v Evropské unii návrh nové směrnice o omezování průmyslového znečištění, který v sobě zahrnuje jak současnou směrnici IPPC, tak i směrnice o spalovnách odpadů, velkých spalovacích zařízeních atd. - Die Richtlinie 2008/1/EG des Europäischen Parlaments und des Rates vom 15. Januar 2008 über die integrierte Vermeidung und Verminderung der Umweltverschmutzung (IVU-Richtlinie) (englisch Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control, IPPC) zielte auf ein hohes Schutzniveau für die Umwelt für bestimmte industrielle Tätigkeiten. Die Vorgängerrichtlinie (96/61/EG) wurde bereits im Jahr 1996 verabschiedet und sah eine Umsetzung in allen Anlagen bis zum 31. Oktober 2007 vor. Im Jahr 2010 wurde die IVU-Richtlinie mit wenigen, aber wesentlichen Änderungen in die Industrieemissionsrichtlinie (2010/75/EU) integriert. Die IVU-Richtlinie (2008/1/EG) sah Maßnahmen zunächst zur Vermeidung, dann zur Verminderung von Emissionen in Luft, Wasser und Boden sowie auch von Abfall vor. Zu den bestimmten Tätigkeiten gehörten gemäß Anhang I die Energiewirtschaft, die Abfallbehandlung, die Metallindustrie, die mineralbearbeitende, die chemische und andere bestimmte Industriezweige. Die IVU-Richtlinie bestimmte in 23 Artikeln allgemeine Prinzipien der Grundpflichten der Betreiber von Anlagen, deren Genehmigung, Genehmigungsauflagen, Genehmigungsverfahren, Information und Beteiligung der Öffentlichkeit usw. Im Artikel 2 wurden Begriffe wie z. b. Stoff, Umweltverschmutzung, Anlage, bestehende Anlage, Emission, Emissionsgrenzwert, Umweltqualitätsform, beste verfügbare Technik, Betreiber legal definiert. Die Richtlinie sah Mindestanforderungen für die von den Mitgliedstaaten zu treffenden erforderlichen Vorkehrungen vor, damit die zuständigen Behörden bestimmte Überwachungspflichten einhalten. (de)

Establece un procedimiento de autorización y fijado requisitos, sobre todo en lo que respecta a las emisiones. Su objetivo consiste en evitar o minimizar las emisiones contaminantes a la atmósfera, el agua y el suelo, así como los residuos procedentes de las instalaciones industriales y agrícolas con el fin de alcanzar un alto nivel de protección del medio ambiente y la salud. - La directive européenne 96/61/CE du Conseil du 24 septembre 1996 (codifiée par la directive 2008/01/CE du 29 janvier 2008) relative à la prévention et à la réduction intégrées de la pollution, dite IPPC (sigle à ne pas confondre avec IPCC), vise à prévenir et réduire toutes les pollutions chroniques et risques de pollution chronique émises par 50 000 installations européennes estimées les plus polluantes (chimie, métallurgie, papeterie, verrerie, mais aussi élevages industriels..) Elle s'est appliquée d’abord aux installations créées après le 30 octobre 1999, date de transposition initiale, puis aux installations antérieures, qui devaient s’y conformer avant le 30 octobre 2007, dernière limite. Ze maakt deel uit van het Europese milieurecht. Ze bestaat uit een set regels om industriële installaties te controleren. De richtlijn werd gecodifieerd in richtlijn 2008/1/EG. Ze is in 2010, samen met een aantal andere richtlijnen inzake industriële emissies, vervangen door de "RIE", de Richtlijn van 24 november 2010 inzake industriële emissies (geïntegreerde preventie en bestrijding van verontreiniging). De IPPC-richtlijn wordt ingetrokken op 7 januari 2014. Deze nieuwe richtlijn 2010/75/EU combineert en verbetert de bepalingen van de IPPC-richtlijn en van richtlijnen betreffende de verontreiniging door de titaandioxide-industrie, de verbranding van afval, de emissies van grote stookinstallaties, en de emissies van vluchtige organische stoffen. - IPPC (ang. Integrated Pollution Prevention and Control ) - Dyrektywa Unii Europejskiej nr 96/61/WE z 24 września 1996 r. dotycząca zintegrowanego zapobiegania zanieczyszczeniom i ich kontroli. Dyrektywa IPPC narzuca konieczność uzyskiwania tzw. pozwolenia zintegrowanego na funkcjonowanie w UE instalacji technologicznych, w niektórych, uznawanych za szczególnie uciążliwe dla środowiska, dziedzinach działalności gospodarczej, np. przemysłu. Są to niektóre instalacje technologiczne w ramach: przemysłu paliwowo-energetycznego, chemicznego, mineralnego, , a również instalacje związane np. z gospodarką odpadami technologicznymi i komunalnymi oraz rolnictwem (m.in. ubojnie, mleczarnie, garbarnie). Dyrektywa IPPC opiera się na czterech filarach, są to: 1.
* Zintegrowane podejście do ochrony środowiska i udzielanie pozwolenia zintegrowanego. 2.
* Najlepsza dostępna technika (BAT - Best Available Technique). 3.
* Dostęp społeczeństwa do informacji. 4.
