- Die Geduldsflasche (auch Geduldflasche, Eingerichte oder Eingestellt) ist eine modellhafte Darstellung einer religiösen oder Alltagsszene, die in eine Flasche montiert wird. Die Kunst, irgendwelche Dinge in eine Flasche zu bringen, ist nahezu 300 Jahre alt. Im Allgäu und im Erzgebirge gab es schon damals die sogenannten Eingerichte, auch Geduldsflaschen genannt. Krippen- und Passionsszenen, Christus, Maria und andere Heilige wurden in Flaschen eingebaut; man füllte so die langen Winterabende aus und verdiente ein paar Groschen hinzu. Aus den vom Bergbau geprägten Regionen im Erzgebirge, im Vogtland, im Harz und im Slowakischen Erzgebirge stammen Flaschen mit bergbaulichen Motiven. Im Erzgebirge sind zudem die weihnachtlichen Flaschenpyramiden bekannt. Einen Sonderfall der Geduldsflasche stellt die Heiliggeistkugel dar. Ein ähnliches Handwerk, das möglicherweise die gleichen Wurzeln hat, ist das Anfertigen von Flaschenschiffen. (de)

Other common objects include fruits, matchboxes, decks of cards, tennis balls, racketballs, Rubik's Cubes, padlocks, knots, and scissors.
