Vinnare blev Marie Picasso som vann med knapp marginal mot tvåan Amanda Jenssen (51,3% av rösterna gick till Marie Picasso). Över 1,6 miljoner röster kom in till programmet under finalen, det är den absolut största siffran i TV4:s historia. Under veckofinalerna blev de tävlande coachade av Lena Philipsson & Orup samt av Carola Häggkvist. Häggkvist framförde även låten Go tell it on the mountain tillsammans med idolerna och hon tränade dem inför delfinalen. I finalen gästade Kelly Clarkson programmet (första vinnaren i American Idol).
