- Die International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (dt. Internationalen Konferenz für Roboter und Systeme)(kurz IROS) ist eine internationale IEEE- und -Konferenz der Robotik. Die IROS zählt neben der ICRA zu den wichtigsten Konferenzen in der Robotik. Die Konferenz findet seit 1988 an weltweit wechselnden Orten in Europa, Nordamerika und Asien statt. Im Jahr 2017 fand sie in Vancouver statt. Im Jahr 2018 wurde die IROS in Madrid abgehalten und im Jahr 2019 fand sie in Macau statt. Die IROS 2020, ursprünglich geplant in Las Vegas, fand aufgrund der COVID-19-Pandemie unter dem Namen IROS On-Demand als virtuelles Event statt. 2021 fand sie in Prag und 2022 in statt. (de)

It is one of the premier conferences of its field (alongside ICRA, International Conference on Robotics and Automation) with an 'A' rating from the Australian Ranking of ICT Conferences obtained in 2010 and an 'A1' rating from the Brazilian ministry of education in 2012. The acceptance rate can vary substantially (for example, it has been 32% in 2011 and 39% in 2012) and IROS typically receives more than 2000 paper submissions (for example, 790 out of 2459 submitted papers have been accepted for IROS 2011).
