- Hyrylä [ˈhyrylæ] (schwed. Skavaböle) ist ein Ort in der Gemeinde Tuusula im Süden Finnlands. Er ist das größte und südlichste der drei Siedlungszentren der Gemeinde und Sitz der Gemeindeverwaltung von Tuusula. Im Ort Hyrylä leben 19.881 Einwohner (2004). Hyrylä liegt etwa 14 km vom Flughafen Helsinki-Vantaa entfernt und ist über die als Autobahn ausgebaute Hauptstraße 45 (Tuusulanväylä) mit Helsinki verbunden, das 28 km entfernt liegt. In den Ort sind viele Menschen zugezogen, die als Pendler ihre Arbeitsplätze in Helsinki haben. Hyrylä entstand im 19. Jahrhundert um eine russische Garnison in der Zeit, als Finnland als Großfürstentum Finnland Teil des russischen Reiches war. Später war hier das Luftabwehrregiment Helsinki stationiert. Noch heute befindet sich in Hyrylä das finnische Flugabwehr-Museum (Ilmatorjuntamuseo). (de)

Tuusulanväylä is the most direct main road connection from Hyrylä to the capital. Other important road connections are the leading to the Nurmijärvi's village center of the municipality by the same name, the leading to the town center of Järvenpää and the leading to the town center of Kerava. - Skavaböle eller Hyrylä (på finska) är en centralort i Tusby kommun i landskapet Nyland i Finland. Orten kallas ibland även Tusby centrum. Tätorten är belägen cirka 25 kilometer norr om Helsingfors och ungefär 10 minuters bilväg från Helsingfors-Vanda flygplats. Tusby kommuns kommunalhus och huvudvårdcentral (hälsovårdsstation) ligger i Skavaböles kärncentrum. Skavaböle har ett stort antal arbetspendlare till Helsingfors. Folkmängden i kärncentrum uppgick år 2014 till cirka 8 000 invånare. Befolkningen på orten är, i dag, övervägande finsktalande, det vill säga finnar. Samhället ligger också i en kommun vars språkliga status är enspråkig finsk. Före 1943 var själva kommunens språkliga status emellertid tvåspråkig. (sv)
