- شق غشاء البكارة أو فتق البكارة أو بضع البكارة (بالإنجليزية: Hymenotomy) هو إجراء طبي يتضمن جراحة إزالة أو فتح غشاء البكارة. وتجرى هذه العمليات للمريضات في حالات البكارة الرتقاء أو عندما يكون غشاء البكارة سميكاً أو جامداً خلافاً للوضع الطبيعي. ثمة حالات لا يحتوي الغشاء فيها أي فتحات، فيلجأ إلى هذا الإجراء الطبي لإحداث فتحات لتسهيل خروج دم الحيض. وفي الحالات التي تكون فيها الفتحات صغيرة جداً أو إن كانت الأربطة تحدّ من الوصول إلى فتحة المهبل يمكن للمرأة إجراء العملية لتسهيل عملية الإيلاج أثناء العلاقة الزوجية دون ألم، كما يمكنها إجراء عملية الشق في الحالات التي يكون فيها استخدام السدادات القطنية أثناء الدورة الشهرية مؤلماً. لا تتأثر عملية الجماع سلبياً بهذه العملية. - Hymenektomie ist die medizinische Bezeichnung für eine chirurgische Entfernung des Hymens (Jungfernhäutchen). Im Falle eines Hymen imperforatus mit vollständigem Verschluss der Vaginalöffnung und einer Ansammlung von Menstruationsblut (Hämatokolpos) bezeichnet man den Eingriff auch als Hymenalspaltung. Um ein Abfließen des gestauten Menstruationsblutes zu ermöglichen, ist ein derartiger Eingriff medizinisch indiziert. Auch beim Hymen altus, bei dem der hintere Hymenalrand bis unter die Harnröhrenmündung reicht, ist die Hymenektomie notwendig. Bei einem sehr rigiden Hymen, welches keinen penetrativen Geschlechtsverkehr zulässt, oder selbst nach mehrmaligem Vaginalverkehr zu erheblichen Schmerzen (Dyspareunie) führt, ist eine Spaltung oder Entfernung des Hymens ebenfalls angezeigt. Davon abzugrenzen ist jedoch ein Vaginismus, bei dem die Entfernung des Hymens zu keinem Erfolg führt. Die Hymenektomie ist ein kleiner Eingriff, der meist vom Gynäkologen in örtlicher Betäubung (Lokalanästhesie) ambulant durchgeführt werden kann. Der Eingriff wird auch in der Tiermedizin durchgeführt, vor allem bei einer unvollständigen Rückbildung des Hymens bei Hündinnen, die allerdings sehr selten ist. (de)

In the case of a person with a hymen without any opening, an opening may be created in order to facilitate menstruation. In situations where the opening is extremely small or the band(s) of a septate hymen limit access to the vaginal opening, the individual may elect for hymenotomy to allow for comfortable sexual penetration of their vagina, or to relieve pain or discomfort that occurs when inserting/removing tampons. Sexual intercourse would not normally be adversely affected by a hymenotomy. (en)
- L'hyménotomie est une opération médicale mineure afin d'ouvrir chirurgicalement l'hymen, de l'inciser ou de l'exciser. Une hyménotomie peut être nécessaire pour les femmes dont l'hymen est trop épais ou trop rigide ou encore , empêchant l'écoulement des menstruations ou affectant le coït lors des rapports sexuels. Le médecin peut pratiquer une toute petite incision pour agrandir l'ouverture de l'hymen et de ce fait l'orifice vaginal. Cette intervention chirurgicale mineure n'est généralement pas douloureuse et permet une pénétration normale et sans douleur. Mais parfois cette intervention peut ne pas être la solution à la douleur ressentie lors des rapports (la zone étant encore plus sensibilisée après l'opération). (fr)
