- Helsingborg exhibition of 1955, also known as H55, was a BIE recognised world's fair held in Helsingborg, Sweden held between 10 June and 28 August 1955. A total of nine nations were represented at the exhibition: Denmark, Finland, France, Japan, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and West Germany. Its theme was arts and crafts, with an aim of showing how modern design could be used in commercial as well as luxury goods. Exhibitors came from 10 countries with items including Nisse Strinning's String design bookshelf Still standing in Helsingborg from the exhibition are the Concert Hall, Parapet Restaurant, and Bar 55. - L’Exposition internationale des Arts appliqués de l’Habitation et de l’Aménagement intérieur , H55, est une Exposition dite « Spécialisée », reconnue par le Bureau international des Expositions, qui s’est déroulée du 10 juin au 28 aout 1955 à Helsingborg, en Suède sur le thème du milieu de l’Homme moderne. Inspirée par l’esprit d’après-guerre, H55 a été organisée sur une jetée du bord de mer. Le designer et architecte en a, notamment, conçu trois pavillons. Des œuvres architecturales de Le Corbusier (cité radieuse de Marseille), de à Boulogne-sur-Mer et de Jean Prouvé furent présentées au sein du pavillon français. Des reproductions d’œuvres de Picasso, Vasarely et Manessier étaient également présentées à cette exposition. (fr)
