- The Hassan II Golf Trophy is a golf tournament in Morocco hosted by Prince Moulay Rachid. The tournament was founded by, and is now named for, his father, Hassan II, who served as King of Morocco. The tournament was originally staged as an invitational pro-am and attended by only a handful of top professionals. The winner receives a gold dagger inlaid with jewels. It has been held at the Robert Trent Jones designed Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat every year except for 2011 through 2015, when it moved to Golf du Palais Royal in Agadir. The tournament has been played since 1971, but did not take place from 1986 to 1990, 2004, and 2009. It has been a European Tour event since 2010. In November 2021, it was announced that the 2022 event would feature on the PGA Tour Champions schedule. (en)

- De (King) Hassan II Trophy is sinds 1971 een jaarlijkse golfwedstrijd voor golfprofessionals. Sinds 2010 maakt het toernooi deel uit van de Europese PGA Tour. De wedstrijd vond t/m 2010 plaats op de Old Course van de Royal Golf Dar Es Salam in Rabat, Marokko. Op de Royal Golf werd in 1987 en in 1992 t/m 2001 ook het Marokkaans Open van de Europese Tour werd gespeeld. Voor de dames-professionals wordt sinds 1993 de Princess Lalla Meryem Cup georganiseerd. Dit is het eerste internationale golftoernooi voor vrouwen in de Arabische wereld. Het werd toen gespeeld op de Royal Golf Mohammedia. Vanaf 2010 maakt dit toernooi deel uit van de Ladies European Tour. In 2011 verhuizen beide toernooien naar Agadir. De heren gaan naar de Golf du Palais Royal en Golf de l'Ocean, de dames naar de Golf du Soleil. Een van de professionals die een plaats in het toernooi krijgt is sinds 2011 de winnaar van een drietal najaarstoernooien in de Verenigde Staten, de zogenaamde eGolf Professional Tour Fall Series, ook wel de 'Road to Morocco' genoemd. In 2011 behaalde rookie Drew Weaver drie top-10 plaatsen in die toernooien en won daarmee een plaats in de Hassan II Trofee. (nl)
