- كانت عملية الحافلة رقم 37 عملية انتحارية نفذت في 5 مارس 2003 على حافلة تابعة لشركة إيغد في حيفا، إسرائيل. ولقي 17 راكبًا مصرعهم في الهجوم وأصيب 53 آخرون. كان العديد من الضحايا من طلاب جامعة حيفا. أعلنت المنظمة المسلحة الفلسطينية الإسلامية حماس مسؤوليتها عن الهجوم. وكان المنفذ محمود عمران سليم القواسمي البالغ من العمر 20 عامًا، وطالب في جامعة بوليتكنك فلسطين. وحوكم أيضًا أحد العرب الإسرائيليين المقيمين في حيفا الذي ساعد في التخطيط للهجوم وحكم عليه بالسجن مدى الحياة لتورطه فيه. - The Haifa bus 37 suicide bombing was a suicide bombing carried out on 5 March 2003 on an Egged bus in Haifa, Israel. Seventeen passengers were killed in the attack and 53 were injured. Many of the victims were students from Haifa University. The Palestinian Islamist militant organization Hamas claimed responsibility for the attack. The suicide bomber was 20-year-old Mahmoud Umdan Salim Qawasmeh, a student at the Palestine Polytechnic University. An Israeli Arab resident of Haifa who helped plan the attack was also tried and sentenced to life imprisonment for his involvement. (en)
