- Gunderic o Gundericus (mort abans del 711) era l'Arquebisbe de Toledo del periòde entre Fèlix i Sindred aproximadament a partir del 701. La (Continuatio Hispana) l'esmenta en la seva entrada corresponent a l'any 701 com Toletane Sedis Metropolitanus Episcopus La següent entrada de la crònica en la qual s'esmenta a un bisbe toledà correspon ja a l'any 711, on apareix Sinderedus com a bisbe. Per tant, l'episcopat de Gunderic va haver de correspondre als primers anys del segle viii. Alguns autors l'identifiquen amb Gunderic, que fou bisbe de Sigüenza entre els anys 688 i 693; altres apunten que aquesta opinió es basa només en la igualtat dels seus noms. Era un visigot altament elogiat a la . Un home molt bo que va fer molts miracles. Encara que era un home culte, no s'han conservat cap de les seves escriptures. Presidí el Divuitè Consell de Toledo (probablement l'any 703), que podria haver estat promogut pel mateix rei Vítiza per forçar matrimoni en el sacerdoci. (ca)

La siguiente entrada de la crónica en la que se menciona a un obispo toledano corresponde ya al año 711, donde aparece Sinderedus como obispo. Por consiguiente, el episcopado de Gunderico debió corresponder a los primeros años del siglo VIII. Algunos autores identifican a este personaje con Gunderico, que fue obispo de Sigüenza entre los años 688 y 693; otros apuntan que esta opinión se basa sólo en la igualdad de sus nombres. (es)

Though certainly a man of learning, none of his writings are preserved. He presided over the Eighteenth Council of Toledo (probably 703), which may have been encouraged by king Wittiza to force marriage on the priesthood. (en)

Successeur en l'an 700 de Félix de Séville (dit Félix de Tolède), Gondéric présida, sous le règne du roi Wittiza (702-710), le XVIIIe Concile de Tolède. Homme vertueux, il s'efforça d'opposer une digue à la corruption qui avait envahi le clergé et de réfréner mais en vain Wittiza, roi despote, cruel, immoral et irréligieux. Il meurt au plus tard en 710. Selon la Chronique de 754, c'était un homme bon et pieux qui réalisait des miracles. Sindred lui succède. (fr)
