- Der Gummel-Plot ist eine nach Hermann Gummel benannte Grafik aus der Elektronik, welche die elektrischen Ströme IC und IB eines Bipolartransistors gegen die Basis-Emitter-Spannung UBE in einer halblogarithmischen Darstellung aufträgt. Diese Darstellung ist sehr nützlich für die Beschreibung von Bipolartransistor-Bauteilen, da sie die Qualität des Basis-Emitter Überganges bei konstanter Basis-Kollektor-Spannung UBC darstellt. Zudem können einige weitere Parameter aus dem Gummel-Plot abgelesen werden. Hierzu gehören die Verstärkung B, Serienwiderstand und Leckströme des Transistors. (de)
- In electronics, the Gummel plot is the combined plot of the base and collector electric currents, and , of a bipolar transistor vs. the base–emitter voltage, , on a semi-logarithmic scale. This plot is very useful in device characterization because it reflects on the quality of the emitter–base junction while the base–collector bias, , is kept constant. A number of other device parameters can be garnered either quantitatively or qualitatively directly from the Gummel plot:
* The common-emitter current gain, , and the common-base current gain, ,
* Base and collector ideality factors, ,
* Series resistances and leakage currents. Sometimes the DC current gain, , is plotted on the same figure as well. (en)
- En electrónica, la gráfica de Gummel es un conjunto de dos curvas trazadas sobre un mismo plano cartesiano en donde cada una representa la corriente de colector (IC) y la corriente de base (IB) de un transistor con respecto al voltaje de base a emisor (VBE), el voltaje de base a colector (VBC) es considerado constante, la gráfica se muestra de forma semilogarítmica. Esta gráfica es muy utilizada para encontrar las propiedades en un dispositivo semiconductor debido a que representa la calidad de la unión base a emisor mientras hay una polarización de base a colector. El dispositivo especializado en obtener el gráfico de Gummel de un transistor se llama Trazador de curvas (Semiconductor curve tracer) .
