- The Gothenburg City Hall (Swedish: Göteborgs rådhus) is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was designed in the Beaux-Arts style and was used primarily as a law court until 2010. The older building was built circa 1670. The architect was Nicodemus Tessin the Elder. The newer part was finished in 1936 after the design and supervision by architect Gunnar Asplund. (en)
- Ratusz w Göteborgu (szw. Göteborgs rådhus) – klasycystyczny ratusz położony przy Placu Gustawa Adolfa w Göteborgu, w dzielnicy Nordstaden. Zbudowany w latach 1669–1672 według projektu Nicodemusa Tessina Starszego. Pierwotnie siedziba urzędu miasta, obecnie mieści archiwum miejskie oraz urząd stanu cywilnego. W miejscu obecnego ratusza, w latach 1624–1669, stał jego drewniany poprzednik, który spłonął w wielkim pożarze, jaki nawiedził miasto. Bardzo szybko pojawiły się plany budowy nowej siedziby magistratu. Nowy budynek, zbudowany z holenderskiej cegły według projektu Nicodemusa Tessina Starszego, stanął gotowy w 1672 roku. Oprócz pomieszczeń urzędu miejskiego, mieścił pomieszczenia aresztu oraz giełdy. Przez ponad 140 lat budynek stał w niezmienionym kształcie. W latach 1814–1817 przeszedł przebudowę, wtedy to zmieniono fasadę od strony Placu Gustawa Adolfa. Zmieniono część środkową, dobudowano kolumny, balkon oraz szerokie schody wejściowe. Pod koniec XIX wieku budynek okazał się być za mały dla potrzeb Urzędu Miejskiego. W 1912 ogłoszono konkurs na projekt dobudówki. Główna nagroda trafiła do architekta Erika Gunnara Asplunda za jego projekt Andante, który kierownictwu magistratu wcale się nie podobał. Nową część otwarto jesienią 1937, po wielu latach dyskusji i wątpliwości. Do 2010 mieścił się w niej sąd rejonowy. Obecnie dobudowana w latach trzydziestych część nazywana jest Dobudówką Asplunda. Charakteryzuje ją jasny hall ze szklaną ścianą od strony ogrodu. Na ścianie frontowej widnieje seria płaskorzeźb autorstwa Erica Grate. (pl)
- Rådhuset i Göteborg är ett byggnadskomplex beläget vid Stora Hamnkanalen och Gustaf Adolfs torg. Det består av dels en äldre del, som stod klar 1672 och ritades av Nicodemus Tessin d.ä., dels en nyare del färdigställd 1936, ritad av arkitekten Gunnar Asplund. I rådhuset satt tidigare stadsstyrelsen för Göteborg, senare Göteborgs rådhusrätt och därefter delar av Göteborgs tingsrätt. Den 15 februari 2010 flyttades tingsrätten till Rättscentrum Göteborg på Ullevigatan 15, vilket gjorde att byggnaden stod tom tills den 2012 renoverades och byggdes om till att bli Göteborgs kommunhus. Den 13 april 2014 återinvigdes byggnaden av kommunstyrelsens ordförande Anneli Hultén (s). Den inrymmer sedan dess såväl kommunledning som stadsledningskontor. Nära 100 personer har sin arbetsplats här. Huset är byggnadsminne sedan den 24 oktober 1968 respektive den 25 oktober 1982. Det ägs av Göteborgs kommun och förvaltas av Higab. (sv)
