- Goff’s Caye ist eine Insel vor der Küste von Belize. Sie gehört zu den etwa 450 Inseln des Belize Barrier Reefs. Verwaltungstechnisch gehört sie zum Belize District. Goff’s Caye liegt zwischen Belize City und dem größten Atoll des Belize Barrier Reef, dem Turneffe Atoll. Die Insel liegt nördlich des English Caye Channel und fast genau an der Riffkante. Sie ist als archäologischer Fundort klassifiziert, da sich in der Frühen Neuzeit eine Fischersiedlung, ein Handelsposten und ein Friedhof auf der Insel befanden. Goff’s Caye war in den 1960er- und 1970er-Jahren ein beliebter Ausflugsort für die einheimische Bevölkerung. Mittlerweile wird die Insel regelmäßig von Passagieren in der Nähe ankernder Kreuzfahrtschiffe besucht, für die einige Annehmlichkeiten wie eine Toilette, ein Grill und sonnengeschützte Sitzgelegenheiten installiert wurden. Neben der touristischen Nutzung ist die Gegend auch bedeutsam als Fischgrund einheimischer Fischer. Nördlich der Insel befinden sich Nahrungsgründe von Meeresschildkröten. In der Umgebung gibt es unter anderem Weißbauchtölpel, Kormorane, Seeschwalben und Fregattvögel. (de)
- Goff's Caye (Spanish: Cayo Goff) is a small island off the shore of Belize City, Belize. It sits right on the edge of the Belize Barrier Reef with waters to the south and east being only 0.6 to 3 metres deep. Goff's Caye is registered as an archaeological site due to its Colonial era settlement. During the Colonial times, the island served as a fishing camp, trade center and cemetery.Among those interred in the cemetery are a number of crew members from HMS Blossom, who died of Yellow Fever during a visit to the colony in August 1830. Goff's Caye is one of the few small islands in Belize that is not privately owned. The island is considered public land and is managed by the Coastal Zone Management Authority and Institute. It is frequently used by Belizeans and cruise ship tourists for recreational purposes. (en)

Está situado al norte del Canal Inglés (English Channel) y es de 1,2 acres (4900 m²) de tierra arenosa. Se encuentra justo en el borde de la barrera de arrecifes de Belice con las aguas al sur y al este posee sólo de 0,6 a 3 metros de profundidad. Cayo Goff se considera como un sitio arqueológico, debido a su asentamientos de la era colonial. Durante la época colonial, la isla sirvió de campo de pesca, el comercio y como un cementerio. Alrededor de 500 cruceros de turistas visitan la isla cada semana. (es)

Elle est située à l'ouest de l' atoll Turneffe. Elle est considérée comme un site archéologique en raison de ses colonies datant de l'ère coloniale. À l'époque coloniale, l'île servait de lieu de pêche, de commerce et de cimetière. L'île est considérée comme une terre publique et est gérée par l'autorité de gestion de la zone côtière et son institut.
