- glFTPd, o GreyLine FTP Daemon, es un servidor FTP para los sistemas operativos derivados de Unix. glFTPd es de código abierto, como la mayoría de servidores FTP disponibles para los dichos sistemas operativos. Actualmente, el código fuente y los binarios precompilados están disponibles para GNU/Linux, FreeBSD, OpenBSD y Mac OS X (PPC). El servidor, que se inicia mediante inetd, dentro un ambiente chroot por seguridad y tiene su propia base de datos de usuarios. Pese a estas medidas de seguridad, glFTPd sigue en su mayor parte el modelo de la "seguridad a través de la oscuridad". (es)
- glFTPd is a freely available FTP server which runs on Unix, Linux, and BSD operating systems. It has number of features, like logins restricted by a particular set of IP addresses, transfer quotas per-user and per-group basis, and user/groups not stored in the system files, which make it attractive to private warez servers, including topsites. It does have legitimate uses though—a number of web development books recommend it amongst other general purpose FTP servers, and some Linux certification exams of SAIR required knowledge of it. It can integrate with Eggdrop through IRC channels. (en)
