- The George A. Bartlett House, also known as the Old Knights of Columbus Hall, is a Shingle style house in Tonopah, Nevada, United States. The Shingle style is more commonly found in the northeastern United States, and is almost unknown in Nevada. The house stands on a height on Mount Brougher overlooking the town. The house was built by George A. Bartlett, later a U.S. Congressman, who lost the house in the Panic of 1907. The shingled house is set on a rubblestone foundation and features an asymmetrical plan, typical of the style. The house was used as a Knights of Columbus Hall, then abandoned. Renovation began in 2008 to restore the house for use as a bed and breakfast. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982. (en)

Bartlett. Bartlett verliet het huis echter na er minder dan een jaar gewoond te hebben door de gevolgen van de Paniek van 1907. Op 20 mei 1982 werd het gebouw tot monument benoemd vanwege zijn voormalige eigenaar, Bartlett, en vanwege de architecturale kwaliteiten van het gebouw. Het George A. Bartlett House was destijds verlaten en in slechte staat. Het George A. Bartlett House telt 2,5 verdieping en is gebouwd in de op een hellend perceel. Het gebouw, dat een asymmetrisch grondplan heeft, beschikt over een stenen fundering en over stenen muren en pijlers die het gebouw ondersteunen. De rest van de muur bestaat uit houten muurvlakken. Het dak bestaat uit dakleien die twee hoofdpuntgevels vormen. De hoofdpuntgevels kruizen elkaar. Daarnaast bevinden zich op het dak nog drie kleinere puntgevels. (nl)
