- Freedom Ride is the tenth studio album by Australian country music artist Troy Cassar-Daley. The album was released in March 2015 and peaked at number 4 on the ARIA Charts. The album's centrepiece and title track was performed at the 50th anniversary of the 1965 Freedom Ride, which had been led by the political activist Charles Perkins. Cassar-Daley supported the album with a national tour commencing in Swan Hill on 30 April and concluding in Tweed Heads on 14 November 2015. At the ARIA Music Awards of 2015, the album was nominated for the ARIA Award for Best Country Album. At the 2016 Country Music Awards of Australia in Tamworth the album won Album of the Year. (en)
