- Franz Goeschke (auch: Göschke; * 3. Dezember 1844 in Köthen; † 19. Juni 1912 Bad Kissingen) war ein deutscher Botaniker und Mitarbeiter des Königlich Preußischen Pomologischen Instituts in Proskau. Er war unter anderem, wie sein Vater Gottlieb Göschke, Züchter verschiedener Erdbeersorten. Am bekanntesten wurde die von ihm entwickelte Erdbeersorte »Königin Luise« von 1905, die in der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts in deutschen Gärten und darüber hinaus angebaut wurde. (de)

Su padre, Gottlieb Göschke (1818-1898) fue también un notable horticultor. Franz Göschke fue una autoridad en el cultivo de Fragaria × ananassa (fresas y frutillas). Se le acredita la creación de cerca de trrinta nuevas variedades de fresas, incluyendo la aún popular Erdbeere Königin Luise (fresa Reina Luise), que él introduce primero en 1905. His father, Gottlieb Göschke (1818-1898), was also a noted horticulturalist. Franz Göschke was a leading authority of strawberry cultivation. He is credited with creating around thirty new varieties of strawberry, including the once popular Erdbeere Königin Luise (Queen Luise strawberry), a variety he first introduced in 1905. (en)
