- Der Fragility Index ist ein statistisches Maß, das v. a. in der medizinischen Literatur zur Beurteilung von Studienergebnissen verwandt wird. Er bezeichnet die minimale Anzahl von Patienten, deren Status von einem Nicht-Ereignis zu einem Ereignis wechseln müsste, um ein statistisch signifikantes Ergebnis der Studie in ein nicht-signifikantes Ergebnis umzuwandeln. It denotes the minimum number of subjects whose status would have to change from a non-event to an event in order to convert a statistically significant result of the study into a non-significant result.
