- يو-بوت أجنبي هو لقب لقسم خاص تم إنشاؤه من قبل ألمانيا النازية تابع لبحريتها كريغسمرين حيث تم ضم 13 غواصة معادية وغواصة تركية واحدة إلى فيالق الغواصات التابعة لها. ابتداءً من عام العام 1939 واستمر حتى نهاية الحرب العالمية الثانية في عام 1945، قامت البحرية التابعة لألمانيا النازية بتعديل ما مجموعه 13 غواصة معادية كانت في الاسر، ثم نشرها للقتال مع أطقم الغواصات الألمان. لم يكن الفيلق الخاص ناجحًا بشكل خاص، حيث تم تدمير تسع سفن معادية فقط من قبل الغواصات الأجنبية خلال الحرب بأكملها. تم تدمير سبعة من هؤلاء بواسطة الغواصة يو إيه، والذي كان عبارة عن قارب من الفئة التاسعة يو المعدّل المصمم أصلاً . لكن بعذ هذه الغواصات كانت فعالة لزراعة الألغام. - Foreign U-boats was the title for a special section created by Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine that adopted 13 captured enemy submarines and a single Turkish vessel into the U-boat corps. Beginning in 1939 and lasting until the end of World War II in 1945, the Kriegsmarine modified a total of 13 captured enemy submarines, then deployed them into combat with German crews. The special corps was not especially successful, as only ten enemy ships were destroyed by Foreign U-boats through the entire war. Eight of these were destroyed by UA, which was a modified Type IX U-boat originally built for the Turkish Navy. However, some were effective as minelayers. (en)
- La Liste des U-Boots étrangers de la Seconde Guerre mondiale est la liste d'identification des sous-marins étrangers capturés ou réquisitionnés par la marine de guerre allemande (Kriegsmarine) durant la Seconde Guerre mondiale. À partir de 1939 et jusqu'à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale en 1945, la Kriegsmarine a modifié un total de 14 sous-marins, les a classés suivant une dénomination particulière des U-Boote (U suivi de F pour les sous-marins français, de IT pour les sous-marins italiens, etc.) puis les a déployés dans ses flottilles avec un équipage allemand comme les U-Boote d'origine allemande. Le résultat de ces U-Boots n'a pas été particulièrement fructueux, puisque seulement 9 navires alliés ont été détruits sur la durée de la guerre dont 7 uniquement par l'U-A. - Buitenlandse U-boten was de naam van een divisie van de nazi-Duitse Kriegsmarine die speciaal was opgericht om veertien buitgemaakte buitenlandse onderzeeërs te beheren. Gedurende de Tweede Wereldoorlog veroverde de Duitse marine zestien onderzeeboten waarvan er veertien in gebruik werden genomen bij de Duitse marine. De drie Franse onderzeeboten en drie van de Nederlandse onderzeeboten, O 25, O 26 en O 27, waren nog in aanbouw en daardoor niet in staat te vluchten, toen beide landen werden aangevallen door Duitsland. De Italiaanse onderzeeboten lagen in Franse havens die in Duitse handen waren, toen Italië de kant van de geallieerden koos. De Britse onderzeeboot HMS Seal is de enige onderzeeboot die op volle zee door de Duitse marine is veroverd. De divisie buitenlandse onderzeeboten was niet erg succesvol. In totaal wisten deze 14 onderzeeboten negen geallieerde schepen tot zinken brengen, waarvan zeven door de UA.
