- Im Namen der Bibel ist ein US-amerikanischer Dokumentarfilm von Daniel G. Karslake aus dem Jahre 2007. Der Film erzählt von der Homosexualität und seinem wahrgenommenen Konflikt mit dem Christentum. Weiterhin geht es um verschiedene Interpretationen dessen, was die Bibel über gleichgeschlechtliche Sexualität sagt. Es schließt lange Interviewsegmente mit einigen Grundsätzen religiöser Eltern (einschließlich des ehemaligen Fraktionschef Dick Gephardt und seiner Frau, Jane, und den Eltern des Bischofs V. Gene Robinson) ein, ihre persönlichen Erfahrungen damit, homosexuelle Kinder zu erziehen. Und auch Interviews mit deren (Erwachsenen) Kindern. Karslake about homosexuality and its perceived conflict with Christianity, as well as various interpretations of what the Bible says about sexual orientation. It includes lengthy interview segments with several sets of religious parents (including former House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt and his wife, Jane, and the parents of Bishop V. Gene Robinson) regarding their personal experiences raising homosexual children, and also interviews with those (adult) children. The film features an animated segment, "Is Homosexuality a Choice?", in which a summary of the then-current scientific theories about sexual orientation is given. It is directed by Powerhouse Animation Studios and narrated by Don LaFontaine in one of his last non-trailer narration roles. The film premiered at the 2007 Sundance Film Festival. (en)

Ponieważ tak każe mi Biblia) – amerykański film dokumentalny w reżyserii , traktujący o usiłowaniu stygmatyzacji homoseksualizmu przez amerykańskich fundamentalistów religijnych. Światowa premiera filmu miała miejsce podczas Sundance Film Festival w 2007 roku. W filmie zamieszczono wywiady między innymi z kilkoma rodzinami znanymi ze swojego przywiązania do religii, w których dzieci okazały się być orientacji homoseksualnej, w tym rodziny polityka Dicka Gephardta (córka lesbijka) oraz (pierwszy zadeklarowany gej nominowany na biskupa amerykańskiego Kościoła episkopalnego). Film spotkał się z pozytywnym przyjęciem krytyków. W serwisach Rotten Tomatoes i Metacritic, gromadzących recenzje, otrzymał – odpowiednio – 98% i 73/100. Zdobył również kilka nagród na prestiżowych festiwalach filmowych i dokumentalnych. 19 listopada 2007 roku Amerykańska Akademia Sztuki i Wiedzy Filmowej umieściła Zbawienie dla gejów? na liście piętnastu filmów, które pretendowały do nagrody Oscara w dziedzinie dokumentu. Lista została ograniczona do pięciu tytułów 22 stycznia 2008 roku, jednakże ostatecznie dokument Karslake’a nie znalazł się w finałowej piątce. W Polsce film wyemitowany został przez telewizję Planete. Jego premiera miała miejsce 28 lutego 2009 roku w godzinach wieczornych.
