- وقعت معركة قلعة بني عباس في شتاء عام 1553، وقد عارضت ولاية الجزائر العاصمة إلى مملكة بني عباس، من أجل موازنة نفوذ السلطان عبد العزيز من القلعة، والذي يخضع القبائل المحيطة بالقلعة، يأمر صلاح رايس بحملة ضد قلعة بني عباس، لإبادة نفوذه، وجيش ريجنسي يخيم في دوار بوني دوريا من القلعة، فشن عبد العزيز طلعة جوية ضدهم وهزمهم بعد اشتباك كان مميتا لكلا الجانبين، أجبرت جيوش ريجنسي على التراجع بعد خسائر فادحة، وقلصت هذه المعركة أيضا سمعتها، هذا النصر يسمح للسلطان عبد العزيز بتأكيد سيطرته على البيبان والهدنة. - The Battle of the Kalâa of the Beni Abbes took place during the winter of 1553 and opposed the regency of Algiers to the Kingdom of Beni Abbas. In order to counterbalance the influence of Sultan Abdelaziz of the Kalaa, Salah Rais ordered an expedition against the Kalaa of the Beni Abbes to annihilate his influence. The army of the Regency camped at Bona, a league from the Kalaa. Abdelaziz made a sortie against them and defeated them after a clash which was deadly for both sides. The armies of the Regency were forced to retreat after heavy losses, and this battle diminished their reputation. The victory allowed Sultan Abdelaziz to confirm his control over the Bibans and the Hodna. The following year the Regency of Algiers directed another expedition against Abdelaziz in the Battle of Oued-el-Lhâm. (en)
- La Bataille de la Kalâa des Beni Abbès a eu lieu durant l'hiver 1553. Elle oppose la régence d'Alger au Royaume des Beni Abbès. Afin de contrebalancer l'influence du Sultan Abdelaziz de la Kalâa, qui soumet les tribus aux alentours de la Kalâa, Salah Raïs ordonne une expédition contre la Kalâa des Beni Abbès, afin d'anéantir son influence. L'armée de la Régence vient camper à Boni à une lieue de la Kalâa. Abdelaziz fait une sortie contre eux et les défait après un affrontement meurtrier pour les deux camps. Les armées de la régence doivent se retirer après de lourdes pertes. Cette bataille diminue également leur réputation. Cette victoire permet au sultan Abdelaziz de confirmer son contrôle sur les Bibans et le Hodna. (fr)
