- The Fiastrone is a river in the province of Macerata in the Marche region of Italy. Its source is in the Sibillini Mountains near Bolognola. The river flows northwest through the mountains before entering Lago di Fiastra. The river then exits the lake and flows northeast through the mountains. It then exits the mountains and Monti Sibillini National Park and flows north until it reaches the Chienti and enters that river by Belforte del Chienti. (en)

- Il fiume Fiastrone è un breve corso d'acqua delle Marche che scorre totalmente nella provincia di Macerata. Il torrente nasce nel comune di Bolognola, sui Monti Sibillini, e termina dopo 34 km come affluente destro del fiume Chienti presso Belforte. Le sue acque alimentano, ad una quota di 640 metri s.l.m., il Lago di Fiastra costruito negli anni cinquanta e sbarrato da un'imponente diga ad arco-gravità. A monte della diga l'affluente principale è il Rio Sacro, la cui omonima valle fu sede nel medioevo di un'abbazia di monaci benedettini chiamata San Salvatore in Rio Sacro, di cui oggi restano solo pochi ruderi (zona dei Cascinali, nel comune di Fiastra, precedentemente Acquacanina). A valle della diga le acque di questo fiume hanno formato una profonda forra molto suggestiva, nella quale è situata la Grotta dei Frati, che al suo interno ospita un eremo dove dei frati dell'ordine dei Clareni si rifugiarono, nella prima metà del 2° millennio.
