Fergal Hartley (born 4 February 1972) is an Irish retired hurler who played as a centre-back for the Waterford senior team. Born in Ballygunner, County Waterford, Hartley first played competitive hurling during his schooling at De La Salle College. He arrived on the inter-county scene when he first linked up with the Waterford minor team, before later joining the under-21 side. He made his senior debut during the 1993 championship. Hartley went on to enjoy a lengthy career and won one Munster medal.

In retirement from playing Hartley became involved in team management and coaching.
