- The Falkland Islands national cricket team is the team that represents the British overseas territory of the Falkland Islands in international cricket. The team is organised by the Falkland Islands Cricket Association (FICA), which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council (ICC) on 29 June 2007 (although Argentina abstained from the vote admitting it as a member) and became an associate member in 2017. The Falkland Islands played its first international match in February 2004, playing against Chile in Santiago. The team did not make its debut in an ICC-sanctioned tournament until June 2010, when it took part in the 2010 Americas Championship Division Four event in Mexico. The following year, the Falklands played in the 2011 Americas Twenty20 Division Three tournament in Costa Rica, losing all five of its matches. The territory currently has only a single cricket pitch, located on Mount Pleasant Airfield Oval, which hampers the national team's ability to participate internationally. As of August 2010, there were plans to construct the islands' second cricket pitch, to be built in the capital Stanley. In April 2018, the ICC decided to grant full Twenty20 International (T20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between the Falkland Islands and other ICC members after 1 January 2019 will be a full T20I. (en)
- La selección de críquet de las Islas Malvinas (en inglés: Falkland Islands cricket team) es el equipo que representa el territorio de ultramar británico de las Islas Malvinas en partidos internacionales de críquet. Jugaron su primer partido internacional contra Chile en febrero de 2004, y ganaron membresía afiliada al Consejo Internacional de Cricket, el 29 de junio de 2007. La decisión de admitir que no fue unánime, ya que Argentina se abstuvo en la votación. Las Malvinas participaron en su primer torneo internacional sancionado por la Corte Penal Internacional cuando tomaron parte en el torneo inaugural ICC Americas Championship Division Four en México entre el 13 y 19 de junio de 2010. El equipo ganó su primer partido en el torneo, venciendo a Costa Rica. El capitán del equipo, , fue jugador del partido, teniendo 6 ventanillas para 14 carreras (incluyendo un hat-trick). Falklandsöarna deltog för första gången i en ICC-turnering då man var med i allamerikanska mästerskapet, Division IV, i Mexiko under perioden 13-19 juni 2010. Laget vann sin första match då man slog . Lagpakten utsågs till matchens lirare. Det finns planer på att bygga en andra cricketplan, i så fall i Stanley, förutom den som redan finns vid flygbasen Mount Pleasant.
