Fairview is a small census-designated place on the boundary between Christian and Todd counties in the western part of the U.S. state of Kentucky. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 286, with 186 living in Christian County and 100 living in Todd County. It is chiefly notable as the birthplace of Jefferson Davis, later President of the Confederate States of America, and as the location of the Jefferson Davis State Historic Site.

Die Siedlung befindet sich etwa auf halbem Weg zwischen den Orten Hopkinsville und . Die Gründung des Ortes wird im Jahr 1793 von einem Herrn Samuel Davis vollzogen. Derselbe eröffnete später (1802) ein Postbüro in der Nähe. Sein Sohn, der spätere Präsident der Konföderierten Staaten von Amerika, Jefferson Davis, kam in diesem Ort im Jahr 1808 zu Welt. Heute existiert daher im Ort die Jefferson Davis State Historic Site. Sehenswert ist der mächtige, über 100 Meter hohe, aus Beton gegossene Obelisk des Denkmals für Davis, das Jefferson Davis Monument. Im Jahr 2000 zählte Fairview ganze 72 Einwohner, die in den 32 Häusern des Ortes lebten. (de)
