- Στο τέμενος του Απόλλωνα στους Δελφούς ανέθεσαν μνημεία πολλοί ελληνιστικοί βασιλείς, θέλοντας να ενισχύσουν το κύρος και την αίγλη τους. Μεταξύ αυτών ξεχωρίζουν οι Ατταλίδες της Περγάμου, που κατέλαβαν με τα αναθήματά τους μια περίοπτη θέση στο ψηλότερο σημείο της Ιεράς Οδού, κοντά στον ναό του Απόλλωνα. (el)

Among those kings were the Attalids of Pergamon, who occupied a prominent position at the highest point of the Sacred Way, close to the temple of Apollo where they erected their ex votos. (en)
