- Evernight is the fourth studio album by the Finnish heavy metal band Battlelore, released in 2007. As previously, the songs are all based on J. R. R. Tolkien's Middle-earth. Overall the sound of the album was darker and denser than the band's earlier releases with a much thicker and heavier guitar sound. The album also was more consistent in sound with less variation between songs to present a more cohesive piece of work. In this album the band choose not to use names and direct references to Tolkien's legendarium to make the lyrics accessible to a broader audience. (en)
- Evernight es el título del cuarto álbum del grupo de viking metal, folk metal y epic metal finlandés Battlelore. El disco está compuesto de nueve canciones la versión normal en CD y once la versión digipack cover, todas influidas por el legendarium de J. R. R. Tolkien. La portada del disco muestra una lámina del artista Ted Nasmith retocada, titulada «Tol Brandir» y en la que se representa a la Compañía del Anillo bajando el río Anduin en dirección a los Argonath. Salió a la venta en 2007. En este álbum el sonido de la banda se volvió más oscuro y denso que en anteriores trabajos, sobre todo por el aporte de las guitarras. También se buscó un sonido más consistente, con menos variación entre los distintos temas, para presentar un trabajo más coherente. (es)
- Evernight è il quarto album del gruppo musicale gothic metal finlandese Battlelore, registrato da al dal settembre al novembre 2006. La cover dell'album è una versione modificata dell'opera Tol Brandir di . La copertina rappresenta l'approdo della Compagnia dell'Anello al prato di , poco prima dello scioglimento, tuttavia il cantante Tomi Mykkänen ha specificato in un'intervista che "quelle barche non sono proprio quelle della Compagnia, bensì di altri sconosciuti guerrieri, oppure – meglio ancora – di sopravvissuti Dunedain che approdano nella Terra di Mezzo". Evernight è privo di vari intermezzi, intro, episodi acustici e/o recitati presenti nei dischi precedenti, rendendo così l'album più breve e snello. La musica è a metà strada tra symphonic metal, gothic a due voci, folk e heavy metal, con accenni vicini al black metal melodico e sinfonico. Ne consegue quindi che Evernight risulti più oscuro e drammatico di Third Age of the Sun. Inoltre i riferimenti a luoghi e personaggi di Tolkien sono meno diretti, pur essendo i testi ispirati alle sue opere. In un'intervista la tastierista Maria ha dichiarato di Evernight: (it)
