- European Journal of Entomology (EJE) is a quarterly peer-reviewed open access scientific journal published by the Czech Academy of Sciences. It covers research in entomology, including Myriapoda, Chelicerata, and terrestrial Crustacea. It was established in 1904 by the under the title Acta Societatis Entomologicae Bohemiae, then later as Acta Entomologica Bohemoslovaca. The insect depicted on the cover of the journal is Pyrrhocoris apterus. According to the Journal Citation Reports, the journal has a 2011 impact factor of 1.061. In 2016, the journal became electronic-only and open access. (en)
- European Journal of Entomology is een internationaal wetenschappelijk tijdschrift dat zich richt op de entomologie. Het tijdschrift wordt uitgegeven door Academie van Wetenschappen van de Tsjechische Republiek in samenwerking met het Tsjechisch Entomologisch Genootschap. Het tijdschrift verscheen voor het eerst in 1904 als uitgave van het Tsjechisch Entomologisch Genootschap onder de titel "Acta Societatis Entomologicae Bohemiae". De titel werd diverse malen gewijzigd. Haar huidige vorm en titel bereikte het tijdschrift in 1993. Sinds 2008 verschijnt er ook een webeditie, die sinds 2016 de papieren editie volledig vervangt. Sinds die volledige overgang naar elektronisch publiceren kennen alle artikelen vrije toegang onder de Creative Commons licentie "naamsvermelding". Op de "omslag" van het tijdschrift prijkt een illustratie van de vuurwants (Pyrrhocoris apterus), door Europese entomologen als modelorganisme gebruikt. (nl)

Wydawane jest w języku angielskim i zawiera artykuły z dziedziny ogólnej, doświadczalnej, systematycznej i stosowanej entomologii. Przyjmowane są artykuły nie tylko dotyczące owadów, ale także wijów, szczękoczułkowców i lądowych skorupiaków. Pismo zostało utworzone w 1904 roku przez towarzystwo naukowe Česká společnost entomologická pod nazwą "Acta Societatis Entomologicae Bohemiae". Obecne logo czasopisma stanowi pluskwiak kowal bezskrzydły, który został wprowadzony jako gatunek modelowy dla europejskiej entomologii. Czasopismo jest indeksowane przez: , , , oraz . (pl)
