- Η Υψηλή Γέφυρα Ευρίπου (αναφέρεται συνήθως ως Νέα γέφυρα Χαλκίδας) είναι καλωδιωτή γέφυρα πάνω από τον πορθμό του Ευρίπου στην Εύβοια, κοντά στη Χαλκίδα. Αποτελεί τμήμα της οδικής παράκαμψης της Χαλκίδας και ενώνει τη βοιωτική ακτή κοντά στο εργοστάσιο τσιμέντων με την ευβοϊκή στο λόφο Μπαταριά, μέσω του Αυτοκινητοδρόμου Σχηματαρίου-Χαλκίδας. Έχει συνολικό μήκος 694,5 μέτρα, ωφέλιμο πλάτος 12,5 μέτρα και ελεύθερο ύψος 34,5 μέτρα. Το πάχος του καταστρώματος είναι 45 εκατοστά, το λεπτότερο στο κόσμο. Η κατασκευή του έργου ξεκίνησε το Μάιο του 1985 και ολοκληρώθηκε το 1993. Τα εγκαίνιά της τελέστηκαν στις 9 Ιουλίου 1993. Το κόστος του έργου έφτασε τα 2,5 δις δραχμές (με τιμές εκείνης της εποχής). Η γέφυρα αποτελείται από τις προσβάσεις και το κεντρικό τμήμα. Οι γέφυρες προσβάσεως έχουν μήκος 4 × 35,875 μέτρα (Βοιωτία) και 4 × 39 μέτρα (Εύβοια). Το κεντρικό τμήμα της γέφυρας, μήκους 395 μέτρων είναι καλωδιωτό με κεντρικό άνοιγμα 215 μέτρα και πλευρικά 2 × 90 μέτρα. Το κεντρικό τμήμα συγκρατείται από καλώδια ανά 6 μέτρα περίπου. Η θεμελίωση των πυλώνων έγινε σε βάθος περίπου 28 μέτρων. Έχει ληφθεί πρόνοια προστασίας του έργου από πρόσκρουση πλοίων. (el)

- Euripus Bridge (also Euripos Bridge, Evripos Bridge; Greek: Γέφυρα Ευρίπου) is a 395-metre-long (1,296 ft) cable-stayed bridge located in Chalcis that crosses the Euripus Strait, the central and narrowest part of the channel separating the island of Euboea from the Greek mainland. Built in 1992, the bridge was the first cable-stayed road bridge in Greece. A technical challenge during the design and the construction phase was the extremely slender (L/480) longitudinally and transversally pre-stressed concrete deck with only 45 centimetres (18 in) constant thickness, providing sufficient stiffness to omit longitudinal girders. The multi-strand stay-cables therefore have a closer spacing of approximately 5 metres (16 ft) with a minimum inclination of 23 degrees (0.4 rad) and were directly used to support the free cantilever form-works during deck construction. For purpose of higher seismic performance, the concrete deck is monolithically connected with the towers. Constrained reaction due to temperature rise can be handled well due to the slender towers and the soft superstructure. At the transition piers at the bridge ends hinged tension pendulum members are used to transfer uplift forces into the substructure. (en)
- El puente de Euripo es un puente que se encuentra en Calcis y que atraviesa el estrecho de Euripo, que forma la parte central y más estrecha del canal que separa la isla de Eubea de Grecia continental. Construido en 1992, el puente fue el primer puente de carretera atirantado en Grecia. Un desafío técnico durante el diseño y la fase de construcción fue la plataforma de concreto pretensado longitudinal y transversalmente extremadamente delgada (L/480), con solo 45 cm de espesor constante, que proporciona la rigidez suficiente para abandonar cualquier viga longitudinal. - Most Ewripos (gr. Γέφυρα Ευρίπου) – drogowy most wantowy nad cieśniną Ewripos w Chalkidzie, w Grecji. Został oddany do użytku 9 lipca 1993 roku. Długość całkowita mostu wynosi 694,5 m. Budowa mostu rozpoczęła się w maju 1985 roku. Obiekt został oddany do użytku 9 lipca 1993 roku przy udziale premiera Konstandinosa Mitsotakisa. Był to pierwszy most wantowy w kraju. Przed jego otwarciem wyspę Eubea łączył z kontynentalną Grecją tylko jeden most, również w Chalkidzie (tzw. „”). Jest to most wantowy o długości całkowitej 694,5 m. Przez most przebiega jednojezdniowa, dwupasmowa (po jednym pasie ruchu w każdym kierunku) droga, po bokach której znajdują się chodniki dla pieszych. Most wspierają dwa wysokie pylony, pomiędzy którymi odległość wynosi 215 m. Grubość podwieszonych przęseł wynosi 45 cm, dzięki czemu zalicza się on do najcieńszych mostów na świecie. (pl)
