- Eunjoon Kim is a professor of KAIST and director of Center for Synaptic Brain Dysfunctions within the Institute for Basic Science (IBS). With over 150 publications to his name, his research has been cited over 16,000 times giving him an h-index of 61 and i10-index of 121. He graduated from Busan National University in 1986, received master's degree at KAIST in 1988, received PhD degree at Michigan State University in 1994, and worked at Harvard Medical School as a postdoctoral fellow during 1995-1996. His current research focuses on molecular organization of neuronal synapses and synapse dysfunction-related psychiatric disorders. (en)
- 김은준(1964년~ )은 현재 한국과학기술원 생명과학과 석좌교수/ 기초과학연구원 시냅스 뇌질환 연구단장으로 재직중이다. 또한 국외 다수의 주요학술지(eLife/Molecules and Cells/NeuroSignals/Molecular Brain/ Frontiers in Molecular Neuroscience)의 편집장 및 부편집장을 맡고 있다. 1986년 부산대 약학과를 나와, 1988년 한국과학기술원에서 석사학위를 받고, 1994년 미국 Michigan State University(MSU)에서 박사학위를 받은 후 Harvard Medical School에서 Postdoc으로 근무하였다. 귀국 후에는 1997년부터 교수로 재직하면서 연구와 교육에 열정을 쏟고 있다.
