Esther Alzaibar (28 August 1930 – 26 January 2022) was a Puerto Rican and Venezuelan ceramic artist. She was a ceramics professor in Caracas-Venezuela at the Institute Neumann from 1972 to 1976 and also taught at the School of Cristobal Rojas from 1974 to 1976. She is seen as a pioneer for the art of ceramics, by being one of the founders of the Venezuelan Association of the Arts of Fire (Fuego) and for the significant pieces that are a part of the heritage of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Caracas. She died on 26 January 2022, at the age of 91.

Se le reconoce un legado como docente y pionera en el arte de la cerámica, por ser una de las fundadoras de la Asociación Venezolana de las Artes del Fuego y por las significativas piezas que forman parte del patrimonio del Museo de Arte Contemporáneo de Caracas. Fundó el conocido Taller Barro y Fuego en El Hatillo (Edo. Miranda), donde además comenzó con la comercialización de lo que fabricaba y abrió una tienda anexa. En el galpón-taller, actualmente, posee piezas terminadas, utensilios como estecas, rastecas, tornetas, balanzas, hornos eléctricos, planchas para el secado de los cacharros, y el gran horno a gas.
