Eric Friedl, also known by his stage name, Eric Oblivian, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and entrepreneur. He was a founding member of the Memphis garage-rock band the Oblivians, and was a member, along with Jay Reatard of The Reatards and King Louie Bankston of The Royal Pendletons, in the garage band, the Bad Times. He is the founder and current owner of Goner Records, an independent music label and record store located in Memphis, Tennessee.
