- اقترح جيروم إنجل مخططا لتصنيف نتائج عمليات جراحة الصرع، وسُمي مقياس إنجل لنتائج جراحة الصرع، والذي أصبح المعيار الفعلي للتبليغ عن النتائج في الأدبيات الطبية:
