- Εκλογές στην Τζαμάικα διεξάγονται κάθε 5 χρόνια (τακτικά) για την ανάδειξη των 63 μελών της Βουλής των Αντιπροσώπων (Κάτω Βουλής). Οι 63 βουλευτές της Κάτω Βουλής εκλέγονται από το λαό για πενταετή θητεία σε μονοεδρικές περιφέρειες, ενώ τα 21 μέλη της Γερουσίας (Άνω Βουλή, πριν την ανεξαρτησία: Νομοθετικό Συμβούλιο) διορίζονται από τον Γενικό Κυβερνήτη: τα 13 έπειτα από πρόταση του πρωθυπουργού και τα 8 έπειτα από πρόταση του αρχηγού της αντιπολίτευσης. Οι συνεδριάσεις του Κοινοβουλίου γίνονται στο Κίνγκστον. Δικαίωμα ψήφου στις εκλογές έχουν όσες και όσοι είναι ηλικίας 18 ετών και άνω. (el)
- Elections in Jamaica provides information on elections and election results in Jamaica. The Parliament of Jamaica has two chambers:
* The House of Representatives has 63 members, elected for a five-year term in single-seat constituencies.
* The Senate has 21 appointed members: 13 chosen by the Prime Minister and 8 by the Leader of the Opposition. Jamaica effectively has a two-party system: there are two dominant political parties, and it is difficult for other parties to achieve electoral success. The two parties were founded in 1938 and 1943 and first contested the 1944 election. Though the years are fixed due to the five-year term of the prime minister, the date of the election is traditionally announced by the ruling party one month in advance. Recently, there has been debate over whether this "flexible date" system is the best for Jamaica, or whether the government should switch to a fixed date system. (en)
- Les élections en Jamaïque permettent d’élire les membres de la Chambre des représentants la chambre basse du parlement jamaïcain ainsi que les instances locales.Les élections générales doivent avoir lieu dans les cinq ans qui suivent la formation d'un nouveau gouvernement. Le Premier ministre peut cependant demander au gouverneur général que les élections aient lieu plus tôt.
