Edmond M. Hanrahan (died June 10, 1979) was an American lawyer and government official. He served as chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission between 1948 and 1949 and also served as a member from 1946 to 1949. He was appointed to the New York State Racing Commission in 1957 and served until 1975. Hanrahan was appointed by New York state governor W.
