- إي أوه إس (EOS) عبارة عن نظام تصوير طبي تم تصميمه بواسطة شركة إي أوه إس للتصوير التي تستخدم التصوير الإشعاعي الرقمي وذلك لإنتاج الصور الأمامية والجانبية للمرضى. وهي التي تحدد كمية الجرعة الممتصة من الأشعة السينية بواسطة المريض في وضع عمودي عن طريق استخدام كاشف الغرفة السلكية للكشف عن الأشعة السينية. يتم التسويق لنظام إي أوه إس عن طريق الشركة الفرنسية إي أو إس إيماجينج (والمعروفة سابقًا باسم بايو سبيس) باعتباره تطبيق خاص بـالعظام، مع تصوير ثلاثي الأبعاد للعمود الفقري، والأطراف السفلية للمريض (وذلك بفضل تطبيق ستير إي أو إس (SterEOS)). The system relies on the high sensitivity of a detector (multi-wire chamber) invented by Georges Charpak, which earned him the 1992 Nobel prize. EOS is commercialized by the French company EOS imaging as an orthopedic application whose main feature is the 3D visualization of the vertebral column and/or lower limbs of the patients. (en)
