- Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) és una fundació amb seu a Sant Sebastià creada l'any 1999 amb la intenció de promoure la investigació científica bàsica en ciència de materials. Està governada per un patronat el qual té com a membres actuals: el Govern Basc, la Universitat del País Basc, l'Ajuntament de Sant Sebastià, Kutxa, (des de 2004), Telefónica (des de 2005), Mapfre (des de 2008), i CAF. Anteriorment Iberdrola també va participar en la fundació entre el 2000 i el 2003.Des de la seva creació sempre ha estat presidida per ,i sempre ha tingut un fort compromís amb la internacionalització. L'any 2010 tenia una xarxa de 1.228 científics externs col·laboradors i ja havia propiciat la publicació de 1.200 artícles a revistes especialitzades. (ca)
- The Donostia International Physics Center (DIPC) Foundation was established in 1999 in the framework of a collaboration agreement reached by the Education and Industry Departments of the Basque Government, the University of the Basque Country, the Regional Government of Gipuzkoa, the City of Donostia and the Kutxa savings bank. Iberdrola participated in the venture during 2000-2003. In 2004 joined the project, followed by Telefónica in 2005. The DIPC was born as an intellectual center aimed at fostering and providing for the development of highest level basic research in material science. Since its early days, the DIPC has been an open institution, bound to the University of the Basque Country, committed to the internationalization of all basic science engaged in the Basque Country related to physics and material science.
