- Doane Rock is a glacial erratic located in Eastham, Massachusetts on the grounds of the Cape Cod National Seashore. It is the largest exposed boulder on Cape Cod. It stands 18 feet (5.5 m) high and extends below the ground an estimated 12 feet (3.7 m). This boulder is named after Deacon John Doane, one of Eastham's original settlers. It has also been called Enochs or Enos rock for the deacon's son, as well as Great Rock. The rock was left by the glaciers (Laurentide Ice Sheet; 18,000–12,000 years ago) between what is now the Salt Pond Visitors Center and Coast Guard Beach. Doane Rock is located just off Doane Road about one mile past the Salt Pond Visitor Center on National Park Service land. Limited parking is available near the rock. (en)

Mit einer Höhe von 5,5 Meter und einer Tiefe von geschätzten 3,7 Metern unter der Erde ist er der größte freiliegende Stein in Cape Cod. Er wurde nach dem Diakon John Doane benannt, welcher einer der ersten Siedler von Eastham war. Der Findling wurde auch schon nach Doanes Sohn Enochs- oder Enos Rock, oder auch einfach Great Rock (engl. großer Felsen) genannt. La roca fue dejada durante el retroceso de los glaciares correspondientes a la capa de hielo Laurentino hace aproximadamente entre 18 y 12 mil años. Durante este retroceso se depositó el till glaciar, de los cuales la Roca Doane representa uno de los bloques más grandes. La roca tiene el nombre de , uno de los primeros pobladores de Eastham. También se la ha llamado Enochs o roca Enos por el hijo del diácono.
