Darryl McDonald (born 17 June 1964) is an American-Australian professional basketball coach and former player who is an assistant coach for Melbourne United of the Australian National Basketball League (NBL). McDonald was a three-time NBL champion: winning with the Giants in 1994, and twice with the Tigers in 2006 and 2008. He was selected as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the NBL All-Star Game in 1996 and 2006. McDonald served as the interim coach for the Melbourne Tigers during the 2011–12 season and returned in the same capacity with the renamed Melbourne United for the 2014–15 season. (en)
