- الدرامكة ونسبه لواحدهم الدرمكي، هي إحدى قبائل سلطنة عمان ودولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة. وهم الكتلة الرئيسية في حلف الظواهر. ويقطنون مدينة العين وولاية إزكي ومرير الدرامكة بولاية شناص. وأول مجيئهم إلى واحة تؤام كان من منطقة إزكي، وكان أول نزولهم في منطقة حفيت وبنوا حصن مزيد، وفيما بعد أخرجهم منه آل صلف (شيوخ النعيم في حفيت)، ورحلوا إلى واحة تؤام ونزلوا في منطقة القطارة وهيلي وبنوا فيها الحصون والأبراج والمربعات.
* جاء في كتاب الأنساب للعوتبي: أنهم من بنو سلمة بن مرة بن مرثد من بني شبيب بن السكون بن أشرس بن كندة، ويعرفون ببني دَرمكة، وهي أمهم: درمكة بنت عبد الله بن سعد بن مرة بن محرق. غلبت على اسم ابيهم.

- The Daramikah (Arabic: درامكة, singular Darmaki) are an Arabian tribe, a branch of the widespread Dhawahir of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman. They have given their name to a small watchtower located in the Qattara Oasis in Al Ain, one of a number of areas in the region traditionally held by the semi-nomadic Dhawahir. The tower protected the falaj irrigation system that gave life to the oasis. In the latter part of the 19th century, the Al bu Falah of Abu Dhabi bought out much of the property previously owned by the Dhawahir, who continued to cultivate the land in Al Ain, Jimi, Hilli, Qattarah and Mu'tirid.
