Daniel "Danny" Syrkin (or Dani Sirkin, Hebrew: דניאל "דני" סירקין; born 4 March 1971) is an Israeli film and television director and screenwriter. Syrkin was born in Moscow, Soviet Union, to a Jewish family. Syrkin immigrated to Israel as a baby with his family and resided in Jerusalem, Israel. He graduated the Tel-Aviv University's School of Cinema. His thesis project at the School of Cinema, a short film (עכשיו רחמימוב, Achshav Rachmaninov, 1998), won a prize at the Turin Film Festival in Italy.
