- دراسة شيخوخة الدماغ التشيكية هي دراسة رصدية طولية عن الشيخوخة والخرف من مركزين كبيرين في جمهورية التشيك تجمع بين الرعاية السريرية والبحوث السريرية. تم إنشاء المشروع التجريبي المؤدي إلى البيانات التجريبية لـدراسة شيخوخة الدماغ التشيكية في عام 2005 كمتابعة طولية للأشخاص المعرضين لخطر الإصابة بمرض الزهايمر الخرف. حدثت خطوة كبيرة إلى الأمام في عام 2011 بعد تلقي تمويل كبير من صندوق التنمية الإقليمية الأوروبية ووزارة الصحة التشيكية. مكّن هذا التمويل من إنشاء المركز الدولي للبحوث السريرية في برنو ومكّن أيضًا من مزامنة الجهود في البحوث السريرية والترجمة بين اللجنة الدولية والمركز الإدراكي في قسم طب الأعصاب في مستشفى جامعة موتول في براغ. تقوم دراسة شيخوخة الدماغ التشيكية الآن بتجنيد أعداد كبيرة من المشاركين عبر الموقعين وهي الدراسة الطولية الوحيدة من نوعها في جمهورية التشيك. كما أنها على وشك أن تصبح أكبر دراسة لدراسة عوامل الخطر لمرض الزهايمر في وسط وشرق أوروبا. - Czech Brain Ageing Study (CBAS) is a longitudinal, observational study on aging and dementia from two large centers in the Czech Republic combining clinical care and clinical research. The pilot project leading to the pilot data for CBAS was established in 2005 as a longitudinal follow-up of subjects at risk of Alzheimer disease dementia (AD). A major step forward occurred in 2011 after receiving a substantial funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the Czech Ministry of Health. This funding enabled to establish the International Clinical Research Center (FNUSA-ICRC) in Brno and also enabled to synchronize the efforts in clinical and translational research between the ICRC and the Cognitive Center at Department of Neurology of the Motol University Hospital in Prague. CBAS now recruits a large numbers of participants across the two sites and is the only longitudinal study of its kind in the Czech Republic. It is also about to become the largest study to study risk factors for AD in Central and Eastern Europe. (en)
