Associated plants include Cheirodendron trigynum, , Xylosma hawaiensis, Pipturus albidus, Coprosma spp., Wikstroemia oahuensis, , Psychotria spp., Sadleria spp., , Touchardia latifolia, Freycinetia arborea, and .
