- CESR (anglicky: The Committee of European Securities Regulators) byl výbor pro evropskou regulaci cenných papírů, který byl ustanoven Evropskou Komisí 6. června 2001. * Improve the coordination among securities regulators
* Act as an advisory group to assist European Commission
* Work on implementation of community legislation in EU member states The other Level-3 committees in the Lamfalussy process were the Committee of European Banking Supervisors (CEBS) and the Committee of European Insurance and Occupational Pensions Supervisors (CEIOPS). On 1 January 2011, the CESR was replaced by the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA), which is part of the European System of Financial Supervision. (en)
- Der Ausschuss der Europäischen Aufsichtsbehörden für das Wertpapierwesen (Committee of European Securities Regulators, CESR) war ein Stufe-3-Komitee der Europäischen Union (EU) innerhalb des Lamfalussy-Verfahrens. Er wurde gemäß einer Entscheidung der Europäischen Kommission in der Folge des Schlussberichts der Weisen unter dem Vorsitz des Barons Alexandre de Lamfalussy eingerichtet und nahm am 6. Juni 2001 seine Arbeit auf. Es handelte sich dabei um einen unabhängigen Ausschuss der europäischen Wertpapieraufseher mit Sitz in Paris. Mit Beschluss der Europäischen Kommission vom 23. Januar 2009 zur Errichtung eines Europäischen Finanzaufsichtssystems ist CESR mit Wirkung zum 1. Januar 2011 in der Europäischen Wertpapier- und Marktaufsichtsbehörde (European Securities and Markets Authority, ESMA) aufgegangen. (de)

* Actuar como un grupo consultivo para asistir a la Comisión Europea

- Komitet Europejskich Regulatorów Rynku Papierów Wartościowych (ang. Committee of European Securities Regulators – CESR) – organ powołany 6 czerwca 2001 roku, przez Komisję Europejską, przekształcony w Europejski Urząd Nadzoru Giełd i Papierów Wartościowych (ESMA) z dniem 1 stycznia 2011 roku.W skład komitetu wchodzili przedstawiciele krajowych organów nadzoru rynku papierów wartościowych państw członkowskich Unii Europejskiej. Trzech dodatkowych członków delegowały Norwegia, Islandia oraz Komisja Europejska.Do zadań CESR, kontynuowanych obecnie przez ESMA, należało:
* wzmocnienie i poprawa jakości współpracy pomiędzy europejskimi komisjami nadzoru rynków papierów wartościowych
* doradztwo Komisji Europejskiej przy kreowaniu założeń oraz technicznych aspektów legislacji unijnej w zakresie rynku kapitałowego
* systematycznie dążenie do wprowadzenia jednolitego prawa oraz praktyk nadzorczych dot. rynku papierów wartościowych w państwach członkowskich. (pl)
