- Clinical Cancer Research is a peer-reviewed medical journal on oncology, including the cellular and molecular characterization, prevention, diagnosis, and therapy of human cancer, medical and hematological oncology, radiation therapy, pediatric oncology, pathology, surgical oncology, and clinical genetics. The applications of the disciplines of pharmacology, immunology, cell biology, and molecular genetics to intervention in human cancer are also included. One of the main interests of Clinical Cancer Research is on clinical trials that evaluate new treatments together with research on pharmacology and molecular alterations or biomarkers that predict response or resistance to treatment. Another priority for Clinical Cancer Research is laboratory and animal studies of new drugs as well as molecule-targeted agents with the potential to lead to clinical trials, and studies of targetable mechanisms of oncogenesis, progression of the malignant phenotype, and metastatic disease. - Clinical Cancer Research es una revista médica, revisada por pares sobre oncología , que incluye la caracterización celular y molecular, la prevención, el diagnóstico y la terapia del cáncer humano, oncología médica y hematológica, radioterapia, oncología pediátrica, patología, oncología quirúrgica y genética clínica. También se incluyen las aplicaciones de las disciplinas de farmacología, inmunología, biología celular y genética molecular a la intervención en el cáncer humano. Uno de los principales intereses de la Investigación Clínica del Cáncer se trata de ensayos clínicos que evalúan nuevos tratamientos junto con investigaciones sobre farmacología y alteraciones moleculares o biomarcadores que predicen respuesta o resistencia al tratamiento. Otra prioridad para la investigación clínica del cáncer son los estudios de laboratorio y en animales de nuevos medicamentos, así como agentes dirigidos a moléculas con el potencial de conducir a ensayos clínicos y estudios de mecanismos de oncogénesis, progresión del fenotipo maligno y enfermedad metastásica.
