Ferro, Jr. It was incorporated in 1996 as Click Interactive, Inc., changed its name to Click Commerce, Inc. in 1999 and went public on NASDAQ in June, 2000 under the symbol CKCM. Click Commerce is headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. In October 2006, the company was acquired by Illinois Tool Works for approximately $292 million and continues to operate as an independent business unit.In August, 2008, Illinois Tool Works issued a press release noting it was attempting to divest Click.
