Clare is a nominator for the Nasher Sculpture Prize, Texas (2015-22) and has nominated or judged a number of prizes including the inaugural Hambros Kleinwort Emerging Artist Prize 2019; the Jack Goldhill Sculpture Prize, RA Summer Exhibition 2018; the Mark Tanner Sculpture Prize 2018; and the Paul Hamlyn Awards for Artists. She has presented papers nationally and internationally, including at The China Museum, Beijing; the Kyiv Sculpture Project, Ukraine; the Province of Limburg at Z33, Belgium; the Museo Bellas Artes, Santiago, Chile; the Cape Town Art Fair, South Africa; the Nirox Foundation, Johannesburg, South Africa; and the Sydney Opera House, Australia. She has spoken as a panelist or conducted public interviews with artists at YSP; the ICA London; Shoreditch House, London; the Francis Crick Institute, London; Phillips, London; Frieze London; and 30 St Mary Axe, London Clare authored the introductory essay for Clay and Ceramic in Contemporary Art, published by Phaidon Vitamin C and adapted for Christie’s journal.
