- Die Verklärungskirche (albanisch Kisha e Shpërfytyrimit) ist eine orthodoxe Kirche im ostalbanischen Dorf Herbel in der Gemeinde Dibra. Sie ist seit dem 30. Mai 1970 anerkanntes Kulturdenkmal. Die Kirche wird geschützt, da sie aus vorosmanischer Zeit stammt und Wandmalereien aufweist, jedoch wird sie nicht weiter verwendet. Die Kirche wurde im 12. oder 14. Jahrhundert aus Steinen und Kalkmörtel gebaut. Jedes Jahr am 19. August pilgern Anwohner aus der Umgebung – auch Muslime – zur Kirche. Traditionell verbringen sie dann eine Nacht im Inneren der Kirche, schlafen und beten dort. Dies soll ihrem Glauben nach Krankheiten heilen. (de)

Established in the 12th century, it was declared a Cultural Monument of Albania in 1970. There is an annual celebration at the church, occurring on the 18th and 19th of August. While primarily attended by the Macedonian Christian population, it is also attended by Muslims. In 2018, a dozen icons were donated to the church by the nearby Saint Jovan Bigorski Monastery. (en)

Bien qu'elle ne soit plus en service, elle est reconnue (en) le 30 mai 1970 en raison de son architecture pré-ottomane et de ses nombreuses peintures murales. L'édifice est construit au XIIe ou au XIVe siècle en pierre et en mortier de chaux. Chaque année le 19 août, les habitants des alentours, essentiellement des chrétiens macédoniens mais aussi des musulmans, se rendent à l'église pour y passer la nuit, dormir et prier.
