- المسيحيون في العلوم هي منظمة بريطانية من العلماء والفلاسفة واللاهوتيين، والأكاديمين والمعلمين، وطلاب العلم، في تتكون الغالب من المسيحيين الإنجيليين، وتهتم المنظمة بالحوار بين المسيحية والعلم. وبدأت المنظمة عملها في عام 1940 باعتبارها واحدة من الفئات المهنية من IVF (الآن UCCF)، كانت تعرف المظمة باسم في أبحاث العلماء المسيحيين حتى عام 1950 واتخذت الاسم الحالي منذ عام 1988. وأصبحت المنظمة أكبر وأكثر تأثيرًا ومهنية. والمنظمة هي النظير البريطاني لجهة العمل العلمية الأمريكية، ولكن تنوعها اللاهوتي أوسع. استغرق الأمر للاستقلال المنظمة المالي من UCCF في عام 1996. وللمنظمة أكثر من 850 عضوًا، وهي عضو في التحالف الإنجيلية، ومن أبرز أعضائها روبرت جيمس بيري وجون هوتون. جنبًا إلى جنب معهد فيكتوريا، تنشر مجلة العلم والإيمان المسيحي مرتين في السنة. - Die Christians in Science (CiS) sind eine evangelikale britische Organisation von Wissenschaftlern, Philosophen, Theologen, Geistlichen, Lehrern und Studenten mit dem Ziel, den Dialog zwischen Christentum und Wissenschaft zu führen. Der Verband wurde in den 1940ern als eine der berufsspezifischen Gruppen der Inter-Varsity Fellowship of Evangelical Unions (IVF; heute Universities and Colleges Christian Fellowship, UCCF) gegründet und war seit den 1950er als Research Scientists’ Christian Fellowship bekannt. 1988 wurde der gegenwärtige Name angenommen. Finanzielle Unabhängigkeit vom UCCF erreichte die Organisation 1996. Der Verband hat mehr als 850 Mitglieder und ist Mitglied der Evangelical Alliance. Es gibt ca. 25 Regionalgruppen im Vereinigten Königreich und Irland. Zusammen mit dem geben die Christians in Science zweimal jährlich die Zeitschrift heraus. (de)

The organisation was started in the 1940s as one of the professional groups of IVF (now UCCF), and was known as the Research Scientists' Christian Fellowship from 1950 until it adopted the current name in 1988. It took on financial independence from UCCF in 1996. The organisation has over 850 members, is a member of the Evangelical Alliance, and includes R. J. Berry and John T. Houghton as two of its more noteworthy members. Along with the Victoria Institute, it publishes Science and Christian Belief twice yearly. (en)
